I'm trying to think of who in our group of mutual friends would have guessed that you are more liberal than I...it's actually nice to be able to identify someone who is (other than my radical "i've been arrested for protesting" assistant) -- there's a whole core group in my political club who think I'm a bit...radical. :-)

*grin* I just tend to be quiet about my radical liberal tendencies, especially in the political climate of the past five or so years, and living and working in a predominantly Republican town. But, remember I grew up in Massachusetts, where being liberal and vocal about it *is* the diehard traditional stance.

I do wonder what my answer to the first question -- the museum one -- would have been if I didn't work for a struggling museum funded in part by the local government (thanks to much pleading to the local electeds)...

Given your interests, quite possibly the same.

One of my co-workers was trying to see if she could talk me into voting for a local education referendum. She was shocked when after she explained it, I told her that of course I would vote for it. I may be single and childless, but I still believe that education is a priority. Besides, it's the kind of thing I used to campaign for when I was a student.
