ramblings and schedule

I now own a truly impressive bra. I can't quite decide whether to compare it to a swiss army knife, or a Transformer. I think it probably conquers small countries in its spare time.

This is a good thing.

Last week, I watched the first season of 24. Between that, and the current season, I have to wonder why anyone wants to get near Jack Bauer. The man is cursed, in a considerably more dangerous-to-those-around-him way than talanos.

johnstevensaul won History of the World again this week. We need to get another player to shift the dynamic of the game. This game was very different, though, as most of the large empires never appeared, and we all got to explore some different strategies. The Vikings are better than they look.

As usual, I have many projects that I'm partway through. If I owe you something that you haven't heard me mention in a while, nudge me.

Upcoming Schedule:

Fri April 28: call my mother, or receive the wrath of Dad.
Sat April 29: morning - dress fitting in Chatham. Evening - daernhelm's play, 7 pm near Allentown.
Sun April 30: currently open

Sat-Sun May 6-7: currently open, likely a PA weekend.
Sun May 7: call my father.

Sat May 13: Hair Appointment Of Doom, starting at 11:00. Others are in Doylestown that weekend Doing Stuff, so probably I will tag along for the company.
Sun May 14: Mother's Day. Call Mom, try to think of something to talk about.

Sat-Sun May 20-21: currently open, likely a weekend at home.

Wed May 24: Drive to DC.
Sat May 27: jaedeth's wedding
Sun May 28: Drive home.
Mon May 29: Recover, and thank God for holidays.

Except that adding another place I need to look regularly is not handy. If it were, a paper calendar in my purse would work, and it hasn't worked for years.

'k. I like it because it makes it really easy for me and Em to synchronize, I can check it (and add to it) using SMS, and I get SMS notifications. oh, you can also get your agenda emailed to you daily. :)

However, given how specific my own needs are re: scheduling and task-tracking, I understand completely that it won't work for you.

Ahhhh.

Well, different people, different awesomeness. I can't do the long lines.

But I'm glad you found your personal awesomeness of a bra!

Oh, I wouldn't wear it on a regular basis. I just need it to go under a bridesmaid's dress.

*grins* I can't even wear them under fancy dresses. My skin is very "squishy" and my waist is very short so they usually dig into my hips. Also, the flesh will "squish out" from under them, and I end up looking fatter in a long line bra than I do out of it (much like the thigh squish out of a bathing suit - nekkid is how I was meant to swim!).

Needless to say, I can't wear strapless anything. It drove my sister crazy when I was in her wedding...

Yay to you finding the perfect bra for fancy dress for yourself, though!!! Woohoo! Finding a good bra is cause for MAJOR celebration.

Well, again, I wouldn't say perfect... more like "close enough". But major celebration nonetheless, I think.

Even close to great is cause for celebration.
