things people don't notice

Dear video editors (and here I'm looking at whoever works on Project Runway, but it's generally applicable):

If you want to build dramatic tension with a cliffhanger before a break, don't use video of the judges naming the winner. Cutting the audio doesn't mean much for people who can lip-read.

In this case it didn't matter much, since the winner was announced after the commercial break, but if that had been a teaser for an upcoming show, someone probably would have gotten fired for that.
