Random burbling

It's the time of year for goodies at the office. All the sugar our little hearts could desire. On a related note, the spearmint candies are almost gone...

Is there a polite way to ask the upstairs neighbors (who I don't often bump into) to stick mail they get for me into my box, instead of writing MOVED or NOT AT THIS ADDRESS on it and leaving it for the mailman? I've caught two things in the last two weeks, and I'm worried about what else I might have missed.

Anybody have suggestions on what to buy someone for Christmas? I'm running short on ideas this year. Not anyone in particular, I just want to get myself in the mood and thinking of things.

Can you re-label your mailbox, really clearly, with your name? That and a note left with your mail carrier may help.

That helped me when the crazy Watertown neighbors would flip out about getting one piece of my mail in their mailbox.

The box is clearly marked with my name, ironically enough.

I think they must think I-my-name moved out when daernhelm did, and I-my-body am a different person.

I'm going to redo the labels on the box (now that it finally stopped raining) and maybe that will make the point.
