*giggle* You know, I probably tell that story more than any other of my college stories.

You. Me. Tolley/Brown Lounge. My history paper. And you reading aloud this super-insanely long quiz that went on for hours. It was called a mazillion-gazillion question purity test. And me telling you that you shouldn't skip the "what you've done with the same sex" questions like you were planning in order to save time.

*grin* Mostly because you in your pigtails seemed so sweet and innocent that I didn't want to embarrass you.

The 1500-question test was certainly an in-depth way to get to know someone, but after you and John two nights in a row, I gave up on it.

I DIDN"T HAVE PIGTAILS THEN!!!!!!!!! PTTTtthhhhh :-P

My hair was (maybe) shoulder length. That summer it had been very short, so I'm not sure where it was that fall. I didn't get pigtails till the late 90s, and I only wear them now when I've got a bandana on, and then they're "Laura Ingalls" braids, and I'm a hot biker chick in black leather holding onto my ponytail, leather dressed man on his bike ;-) (Oh, and on bowling night *giggles*)

Okay, okay, so I misremembered that part. But you did seem cute and sweet and innocent.

*sighs* Damn. I really thought I seemed worldly and educated. If I was so damned cute when I got there, why did so many people ask me to buy them booze?

I can't believe that even back when y'all started Drew, I was seen as innocent looking. I thought I as the big, bad, experienced older woman.

*sighs* Well, I never got to be the "big bad" but I definitely look like the older woman these days!

Well, yeah, but that was when I first got to know you. Trust me, after that night I certainly thought of you as the big, bad, experienced older woman. And started asking you copious questions to reduce my own naivete!

Awwww, you sure know how to make a woman feel good.

The only way you could have made me feel better was to tell me you thought I was a slut. I was trying SO HARD to be a slut, and I was failing miserably. I just couldn't find enough people to sleep with me...

Sorry... at the time, I wouldn't have thought of anyone I had any respect for as a slut. (we've had the promiscuous v. slut discussion before)

...for that matter, I still wouldn't, although I wouldn't argue the usage with anyone who phrases it differently.

I'm sure we have had the discussion. I've had it with so many people that I can't remember who anymore.

Well, perhaps you saw me as an overly sexed women who got around a lot?

You are one of the few (non-family)people that sends me a Christmas card every year. I've always been touched by that.

...was that the one in the pouring down rain, and then we got yelled at for being late back to the bus, and then we went on the whale watch?

Yeah, that was a hell of a good time.

Probably because it was so wet, and so chilly, and so forth, that we had to have fun, or we'd have hated it.

And I saw WHALES! *bounce* *bounce*

You saw dead whales. And live eagles, (five of them or something near the carcass of the grey whale)And the seals and thewhales at the end of the day... the small group of themand just how danged close they were and was it hot cocco they were providing to drink. Yup lots of happy wildlife, even though we couldn't sit down on the boat.
