Just a friendly reminder to all regarding Harry Potter: Not everyone will read at the same speed. Not everyone will get the book at the same time. Please be kind to those who don't want to have it spoiled for them. Ask if everyone has read it before starting the conversation. Make LJ posts behind cut tags, and warn of any spoilers.

I know that spoilers have been out on the Internet for a month already. I've managed to avoid them this far. I really want to avoid them for the additional week it will take before my copy arrives from the UK.

yay! thanks for the reminder to others- seeing as how i'm likely going to be the last one to read it... i have to wait until somebody i know who has it has read it and passes it along. (i have them all in paperback so i ain't gonna buy a hard-cover now)

*grin* Actually, I'm thinking Tonks would be the perfect woman for him. ;-)

Just not the other way around.

So you'd want to stay away from this man? (No spoilers in the link...)

There are lists floating around fandom of people to avoid, ban from journals, etc.

But how many of them are standing outside bookstores with amplifiers, singing spoilers to the crowd?

Ah. That's easy for me to avoid, as I won't be going to a bookstore any time soon.

I just was impressed that spoiling others would be important enough to write a song and set up an amp.
