On the positive side... there always is one, after all.

It was a joy and delight to go home at lunch to a fresh-smelling apartment. The weather was cool and dry enough overnight to use windows and fans instead of AC. In fact, it was chilly enough this morning I didn't want to get out from under the covers. Even by early afternoon, the temperature had only gone up to about 75, and all the fresh air smelled so good.

And, while I was there, part of my DVD order arrived. So I have new movies.

Is it nice out? Can I live vicariously through you?

It was nice at lunchtime... I'm back in my prison now though.

Feel free to live vicariously through me, if you're sure you want to.

Um, by use of open windows and fans, to let out the old smelly stale air and let in fresh new fall air?

September air. Not the beautiful New England October air, nothing can match that.

But it was still pretty nice.
