How long is a woman's haircut supposed to last?

Mine's already grown out to the point of utterly pissing me off.

Perhaps I just need to get it cut shorter next time...

When you have a more stylized cut like you do, it's going to require more frequent trimming than when you have long hair. Cutting it shorter might ruin the look. When I had short hair (really short hair) I had to get it trimmed every month to month and a half cause it just got ragged otherwise.

Ok, here's the funny thing. I found that my hair would grow way out and annoy me within 3-4 weeks. Getting a "shorter" cut won't help it unless you have an excellant stylist because the cut itself will grow out even if the length isn't too long. (My stylist actually has cuts I can wear for months before I NEED a cut even though it'll no longer look like the original cut because it's 3 months old!)

But seriously, if your hair grows as fast as mine, you'll need a new haircut once a month.

4-6 weeks, at best. I go somewhere nice and expensive for real cuts every third or fourth time and have somewhere cheap even it out in between.

You'll note I had mine cut again before you did. It's the price of a good haircut.

I tried a different place -- not cheap cheap, but not "spa experience" and liked them...
