Hey, this is working better than when I tried it the other week!

create your own visited states map
or check out these Google Hacks.

This is not counting states I only stopped in for the rest areas (West Virginia, South Carolina and Georgia), states I had layovers in but didn't really visit (Utah and Illinois), and states I saw through train windows but never stopped in.

You have been to AZ and NM?

Yep. Not while you were there, though - in 1989. My family spent most of a month traveling through much of the West Coast by train and car - we took the train from Boston to Colorado, drove to Flagstaff by way of a lot of national parks, took the train to Anaheim, stopped and had the Disney Experience (TM), then took the train to San Francisco, visited my aunt and family, drove through northern CA, Oregon, and Washington, seeing a lot more national parks, visited my other aunt and family outside Seattle, then train all the way home.

It was the month before I turned 12, so I still remember a lot of it. My little brother was only 8, and he remembers very little, which is too bad.

Sounds like fun.

My sister took her kids to Disney when they were, um, 3 and 6 or something.

They won't remember it :-(

However, it was my SISTER's dream to go to Disney, and she will *laughs*
