When I left my house after lunch, it had barely started to drizzle. By the time I reached my office (seven minutes later), the rain was coming down in buckets. I considered waiting it out in my car, but there's no way to know if it'll be five minutes or an hour.

I got drenched running in from the parking lot to my office. I feel a great deal of sympathy for dogs I have known, for I did indeed shake the water off as I entered. And I'm hoping the dye on my new shirt is colorfast, or I'm about to be AquaWoman.
