So, as everyone's probably aware by now, Saturday night we're having a blue moon.

This is the perfect time to do all those things we say we do once in a blue moon, of course - or to do something new, that can become one of those things.

I'm supposed to be going kayaking Saturday morning, to the best of my knowledge. That's definitely a candidate for the list. But I'm trying to come up with some other strange things I can do throughout the day and evening (without overly disrupting the lives of the people I'm near, of course). Anyone have suggestions?

We're going skydiving in October. You could always contact someone in NJ/NY and go skydiving on Saturday. Granted, it would be in the daytime…

You could go to the store and buy a CD. Go to a store you've never been to so you don't know the aisles. Keep your head down, walk to a rack, grab it, and when you get home, listen to it (don't even look at what the title is when you buy it!).

You could max out your credit card on a plane ticket to go to visit Disney Girl in France.

Prepare a really strange, exotic new food dish for lunch.

Call someone that you never thought you'd see again and invite them over for the exotic new food dish.

Go to a Goth club on Saturday evening. Go "gothed."

*shakes head* Unfortunately, I can't go then, but next time you are planning a trip (and wouldn't mind me tripping with you) let me know! Have an awesome visit with your parents.
