I updated my bio on my userinfo page. Are there any gaping holes or errors?

Late 20s? You're 26, yes?

27 next Monday. So yes, for a week it's mid- instead of late-

It's been nearly two years since the last time I changed it, I figure it'll probably be nearly that this time. I anticipated slightly.

You anticipated slightly?

It's interesting how much personal "give away" information you put on your LJ. I always find the lines people draw between what information they'll put out in public vs the information that they won't put out to be interesting (probably because I'm on a strange, weird side spectrum of a line all my own ;-)

You've given your location, your job, your name, and your face. Wow. I could totally stalk you with this info.

True. But if you were really a stalker, you would be able to find it all out with any scrap of it, if you really wanted it to.

I don't give out my SSN online at all. Financial information, only on secure sites I'm purchasing from, or ones I'm damn sure are trustworthy - and I keep a close watch on my financial transactions anyway. I don't think I've put up my address and phone number at all, but if I did it would be in a locked post. But I'm listed, so that's public information anyway.

My name, my face, all of that is part of who I am. I don't try to be a separate person online; nor do I keep secrets about myself in general.

If I start having stalker problems online, I can change email addresses, make the journal private or change identities, so forth and so on. If I start having stalker problems in real life, I'll talk to the police. But until and unless it happens, I'm not going to play games trying to put up artificial walls that, frankly, I'll never manage to maintain.

I understand the reasoning behind your choices, and those of others, and I try to be conscientious of remembering and respecting those lines. It just wouldn't work for me.
