I think I got stung by a bee on Monday. I swatted at a bug flying near my head, and felt a prick on my finger just as Ginny said "Oh, I hope he didn't sting you." I chose not to panic. The same spot is still a little red, and both tender and itchy, but it's not swollen and I've suffered no other ill effects. I've heard that you don't exhibit allergies to beestings until the second time anyway, so I guess it proves nothing.

Anybody want a slightly broken 9-year-old laser printer? Didn't think so.

To Do List:

mail voter registration
pay bills
fill out & mail printer rebate
cook dinner
change sheets
fold & put away clean laundry
iron

You've never been stung by a bee in your life? If you haven't, why are you worried that you might be allergic?

Dude, when I was moving out of NJ, I couldn't get anybody to take a perfectly good laser printer that worked, I doubt you'll find someone to take a broken one!

I react badly to most insect bites. It seemed a reasonable concern - not in the "Oh my God, I'm going to die!" kind of way, but in the "I react badly to X, Y, and Z, so if Q happens, I should pay attention and make sure there isn't a problem."

*grin* Bet you'd be a little freaked out if one dive-bombed your head, however...
